Silver Strikers Head Coach Peter Mponda anticipates a tough match on Sunday when his side face resilient CRECK Sporting Club at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in Mchinji.

This will be the 22nd match for Silver Strikers who are currently the only side that is unbeaten this far.

Peter Mponda said that CRECK Sporting Club are a good side that has been getting positive results in recent league matches.

The McDonald Nginde Mtetemera led side is currently seventh on the log table with 31 points. On the other end, Silver Strikers still hold first position with 49 points from the same number of games.

“This will be a difficult game for us as CRECK Sporting Club have been getting good results this far as they are not where they are out of the blues. I think our return to action after the International Break has been fantastic based on how we played on Tuesday (against Blue Eagles) in a Cup fixture therefore i expect the boys to maintain their momentum so that we get maximum points on Sunday,” said Mponda.

Currently, only Binwell Katinji is ruled out for action on Sunday due to injury.
