Ekhaya FC suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 1-0 away to Chitipa United, the loss takes Ekhaya Fc to sixth position .

This was the first time that Enos Chatama’s boys have conceded in the top flight league having gone 2 games without conceding over Mighty Tigers (2-0) and Civo United (1-0).

The cowboys occupy sixth position after week three action which saw FCB Nyasa Big Bullets cementing first position following a convincing 7-0 victory over newcomers Songwe Boarder

Ekhaya Fc looks promising in the League because in the history of the League no team from the lower side won their first opening much but the cowboys have defied the odds.

At Kamuzu stadium Leo Mpulula’s Mighty Tigers recorded their first win of the season after seeing off Dedza Dynamos at home 2-0.

Martin Njewa and Precious Chiudza were on target on either sides of half to grant Leo Mpulula his first 3 points of the season.

Creck Sporting secured their first point of the season following a goalless draw at Nankhaka Stadium against Blue Eagles, while Kamuzu Barracks moved to second place on the standings thanks to a 0-4 win over fellow soldiers Mafco

With 6 teams on bye on match week three, week four promises to be full of action as all the teams that were exempted from action will be aiming to play catch up.
